William Edmondes

William Edmondes is an improvising composer who performs with voice and recorded media. In 1980 he founded the legendary Radioactive Sparrow, a non-rehearsing, total-improv outfit he led (with Tony Gage) until 2003. He studied composition with Anthony Powers (Cardiff, BMus), Robert Keeley (Kings, London, MMus) and William Brooks (York, PhD).

Research Interests
Composition with improvised performance, using recorded media (hardware samplers, turntables & dictaphones), guitar and voice.
